Liebes GSO-Netzwerk,

To be honest - Career Real Talk for Researchers” (in englischer Sprache).

Euer GSO-Team

------------------------------------------------------------

Dear GSO Network,

Let's be honest: Where do you actually get the career tips that really help you get ahead? - Mostly from helpful colleagues or good mentors. We provide this kind of advice in our virtual and free conference "To be honest - Career Real Talk for Researchers" (in English).

On December 7 and 8, you can take part in different sessions - don't miss the main session on "Inconvenient Truths in Academia - and how to deal with it". We were able to gain great guests for this - take a look at the program and feel free to share in your networks.

Also, the holidays are coming up - if you are still looking for a gift for yourself or someone else, we now have vouchers for our career services.

We wish you a hopefully peaceful and enjoyable time before and during the holidays and will be in touch again in the new year!

Your GSO team

PS.: As we gain more non-German speaking subscribers, we will address all of you mainly in English. Some content will remain in German (we will mark those articles accordingly).

Anne shared hands-on advice on networking, visibility, and transferable skills in a guest article for the Joachim Herz Foundation's theme week on promoting researchers on their career paths. The text is in German.
